In 2024, Dr. Richard Haines watched a patient wait 26 days for a routine GP appointment — for a condition that could have been resolved in 10 minutes over video. That moment sparked the idea for Instant Doc Online.
Together with technologist Amara Obi, they built a platform where patients connect with Irish Medical Council-verified doctors in under 8 minutes — via video, audio, or text. No account required. No health records stored. Just fast, private, professional care.
